Fall 2021 - New Cohort, New Students
Word got out. We were still in lock down, and we were getting a reputation and meeting new students, mostly by referral.
Agata (Aggie) and Greg are the most charming students I have met. They both play piano and had a ton of other activities. They were creative and curious and delightful.
Luca Millard-Kish came to us fully formed. His instructor found out about us on an ASMAC zoom and recommended he join. Luca already had a string piece called "Raindrop Dance" needing just a bit of tweaking, but essentially ready for recording. And he wrote his winds piece, "The Forest" over his time with us. An extremely talented young man who no doubt will go far in composition.
Leo Dinner is a Bach specialist. That kid plays so cleanly, and is already being invited across the country to solo with orchestras just a few years after we met him. At Inception, I would describe him as the most inquisitive person I've met. He was hired by Classical Sax to solo with them in April 2024.
